Is Masonry a "Secret Society"? |

No. This is yet another misunderstanding. We are not a secret
society. We are however a socieity, if you will, that does have some
secrets. Those secrets simply allow us to identify one another within
the community.
To put this in perspective:
When you go to an ATM to withdrawl money, you have a Secret (Your PIN
#). This does not make your Bank a "Secret Society' -- It simply
provides a means for your Bank to Identify you.
